Plant & Floral Fair 2026
With just two weeks to go, we are excited to welcome your members to this upcoming event. We would love to see strong club representation — members wearing their club badge will receive a free raffle ticket on entry.
Competition bench
The venue will be filled with a wide variety of exhibits from club members, including:
- Spectacular Floral Art
- Interesting cut flowers
- Superb container plants
- Home‑grown produce
A special feature this year will be the Photographic Competition, showcasing over 100 entries.
Information displays
Members from the Brisbane Organic Growers, Queensland Dahlia Society, Queensland Rose Society, and Queensland Herb Society will be present at their displays, ready to chat and share ideas.
Plant and product sales
We are delighted to welcome Russell Young joining our regular plant sellers: Steve Flood, Kevin Hass, and Rod Nicholls.
Also attending will be:
- Terry Stokes with Grow products
- The Perennial Poppies Group selling seeds
- Art in Bark Association with a display of bark art

Visitors can also enjoy a delicious array of sandwiches and slices throughout the event.

The Plant & Floral Fair is the major event in the QCGC calendar. The show is for the benefit of all QCGC
member clubs as it provides
- ✓ an excellent opportunity to promote your club/society
✓ showcases spectacular exhibits on the competition bench
✓ gives interested gardeners access to gardening information
✓ provides funds for QCGC to use for the betterment of its members

Plant and flower show at Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha. Displays of floral art, cut flowers and foliage, container plants and fruit and vegetables, plant sales, raffle, information about garden clubs.
