For  40 years, QCGC has raised money for community related projects.  We are proud of the contribution we have made to recipients such as:

Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha

Why Were We Formed?

QCGC was established in April 1967 as an organisation to encourage friendship and co-operation among garden clubs.

What Do We Offer?

We are a first point of contact for people wishing to find a garden club or plant society in their area of Queensland.

QCGC hosts a range of social functions for members throughout the year

We  participate in several local garden shows and festivals.  

On this site, you will find a list of garden, plant and flower shows in Brisbane and other areas of Queensland for the current year

QCGC promotes local clubs through the distribution of brochures at our functions and public events

Who Are We?

QCGC Inc is a not-for-profit, community-based organisation that directs its  surplus funds towards worthwhile projects related to gardens and gardeners. 

Our organisation began in 1967 and now has over 114 member clubs. 

QCGC has established strong links with the Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha, Brisbane City Council, Lifestyle Horticulture Network, and Australia's Open Garden Scheme.
