As well as providing social interaction and an interchange of knowledge and interests, QCGC has the aims:           

  1. to encourage an understanding of conservation and its many related subjects, as individual clubs and on a national scale     
  2. to safeguard our national and natural heritage of Parks, Parkland, Botanic Gardens, Nature Reserves, Roadsides and Beachlands by protesting against the abuse of these, and encouraging an interest in their conservation
