QCGC - A local gardening guide for Queensland - clubs, links, information

Queensland Council of Garden Clubs Inc

QCGC provides the following services to affiliated members, designed to make the running of your club/society as trouble-free as possible. We also offer suggestions to individuals planning to form a new garden club in their area.

Newsletter	The quarterly newsletter contains information of relevance to members, about the shows and events of members and activities and meetings of the Council.
Register	A complete list of member clubs and societies with contact details and meeting times and places.
Club Management	Information on aspects of running a club - meeting procedure, duties of office bearers etc.
Insurance	Insurance cover through a group insurance scheme.
Social Occasions	Social functions and competitions to encourage friendship between clubs.
Guest Speakers	Suggestions for guest speakers.
Bus Trips	Suggestions for destinations, nurseries and other places of interest for organising bus trips.
Special Occasions	Opportunities for members to participate in festivals, community events and horticultural shows, e.g. RNA show, historic houses and properties 'Open Days'.
Telephone Listing	Through the listing in the White Pages (Queensland Council of Garden Clubs) and Yellow Pages (Clubs Gardening - Queensland Council of Garden Clubs) members of the public can get information on clubs in their area and advice about gardening.
