Wondai & District Garden Club Inc was formed in 1987 and has 37 members.

The club meets at 9.30am on the second Friday of each month alternately at the Club Rooms at the Wondai Sports grounds and in members' gardens. Tea or coffee is available from 9.30 and the meeting starts at 10am.

The format of the meeting varies but could include a guest speaker or a demonstration, as well as a raffle and Produce Competition with exhibits of Flowers, Roses, Fruit, Vegetables with prizes at the Christmas BBQ for the member having the most points.

There are usually two Bus Trips each year.

Membership fees are $5.

Wondai & District Garden Club organises the Wondai Garden Festival, which is held over the 3rd weekend of April and comprises over 100 sites and a flower competition. This Festival is now in its 8th year and in 2002 won the Fraser Coast South Burnett Tourism Award for Excellence (Regional Festivals and Events).
