The aim of our Club is to create a friendly atmosphere in which members can enjoy the company of others with a similar love of the beauty of flowers and plants
The club began in 1980 and now has 125 members. Weekly meetings are held at the Logan Central Community Hall, 9 Jacaranda Ave., Logan Central. Club meeting days begin at 9am and finish at 11.30 am. Membership is $5.00 per annum. Weekly meetings are $3.00 which includes morning tea.
We have a varied monthly programme as follows:-
1st Tuesday – Bus Trip
2nd Tuesday – Lending Library - Floral Art Competition - Three different Flowers in a Vase – Competitions are judged by members. Guest Speaker – Cutting & Trade Table
3rd Tuesday - Market Table – Guest Speaker – Cutting & Trade Table
4th Tuesday – Competition – Potted Plants – Cut Flowers – Single Fruit or Vegetable – Tray of Fruit or Vegetables – Vase of Flowers – Mini Vase of Flowers. Entries are judged by an official club judge and members
5th Tuesday – When this occurs, the club makes it a fun day with a theme
